GOING GREEN

The Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club has several environmentally friendly initiatives to help reach the tournament’s recycling and sustainability goals. The green initiatives supporting the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club’s efforts to be environmentally responsible and generate less waste include:

The Green Team

The Green Team is focused on our aluminum recycling efforts. Our tournament has transitioned to serving only aluminum canned sodas as well as aluminum cups for all beverages on property. In 2024, the tournament collected 90 bags of aluminum cans, all of which was recycled and donated to the Hunter Army Airfield Recycling Center.

Hydration Stations
The tournament has eliminated selling single-use plastic water bottles. All spectators have access to four Hydration Stations located on the golf course – #5 Green, Fan Zone, #14 Green and #18 Green. There is also a permanent water fountain at #14 Tee as well as #5 Green. Please be prepared as there is no bottled water sold on the golf course.

Plastic Use
The Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club has committed to removing plastic from our primary food and beverage venues during our tournament. Fans can expect to see a plastic-free space in The Landings Company Eagle’s Nest, Private Skyboxes, Schooner Cove Suites presented by Publix, Row 14 presented by Landmark 24 Homes and in all on course concessions. In addition to removing plastic from our hospitality venues, our tournament has also eliminated the use of plastic inside the Clubhouse in Player/Family Dining.

Thank you to Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Savannah River Division – all Coca-Cola products sold or offered on the course will be in aluminum cans.

Composting
The tournament began composting in 2022, starting with the highest traffic areas. The tournament expanded its composting program in 2023 to include all dining areas on property.  In 2024, these efforts resulted in 33 yards of compostable material saved and 2,817 lbs of carbon saved.

Digital Tickets
The tournament transitioned to digital tickets for both hospitality and general admission in 2021.  This change eliminated paper tickets and reduced the number of credentials printed. In 2025, the tournament is transitioning to digital parking passes.

HAVE A PLAN

There are essentially two ways to watch a golf tournament: “Parade Style” where you pick a spot and watch the field pass by or “Cross-Country Style” where you follow a particular player or group around the course.

ARRIVE EARLY

Arrive early to reserve a spot, especially if you plan on watching the tournament “Parade Style.” On Thursday and Friday, groups are simultaneously started on the first and tenth holes. Most people watch the action on the back nine holes which may give you the opportunity to get a better view of the players on the front nine.

SPECTATOR GUIDE AND DAILY PAIRINGS SHEET

Pick up a Spectator Guide for a quick reference Course Map and grab a Pairings Sheet to find out when the players tee off and the order of the groups. Spectator Guides and Pairing Sheets are available at the Main Entrance and at select other locations on the Course. The pros typically play in threesomes on Thursday and Friday and twosomes on the weekends. Check the scoreboards to find out who the leaders are, and where they are on course.

AUTOGRAPH POLICY

To enhance the autograph experience for all spectators, while allowing players to properly prepare for competition, the PGA TOUR has established the following guidelines:

  1. Autographs can only be obtained at designated Autograph Zones.
  2. On-course autographs are not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to tees, fairways, greens and practice areas during practice rounds and tournament rounds.

Autograph Alley presented by Morris & Templeton: The Autograph Alley is located player right of No. 18 Green, next to the Private Skybox venue and open Thursday – Sunday, during play. Grab your golf ball, and get autographs from players as they finish their round!

SPECTATOR MOBILE DEVICE POLICY
  • Devices must be on silent at all times; flash may not be used.
  • Devices may be used to capture video, audio and photos (content) in all areas throughout tournament week
  • Content may be used for personal purposes (e.g., personal social media); no commercial use.
  • No live streaming or real-time coverage (e.g., no shot-by-shot coverage).
  • Data use (e.g., texting) is permitted in all areas throughout tournament week.
  • Phone calls are allowed only in designated areas.
  • Please be respectful of play and do not interfere with players, caddies or media.
  • All posted signage and instructions from tournament staff must be observed.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in the revocation of your ticket.

Please see the back of your ticket for the complete terms of the Spectator Mobile Device Policy. The ticket back language is also located here: www.pgatour.com/ticketterms
